It is a short 0.3 mile hike to the windows and is easily accessible from Kentucky State Route 715 in the Red River Gorge.

The lights from the sides of the cave walls and in the plunge pool change colors from red, to green, to purple and to blue. The waterfall is fed by a stream somewhere on Lookout Mountain but where the stream enters the mountain is unknown. Kodak Z812 IS. Click on the image and view in black!

This is the moon fully eclipsed. The unusual color is caused by the moon fully shrouded in the shadow of the earth. Boasted as the only waterfall in the world to feature this phenomenon, there must be a full moon and clear skies to view it. I wouldn`t really consider this a waterfall per say but I felt the photo turned out quite well considering how small it was. In this picture you`re actually looking in the direction we traveled, in the water over the rocks and waterfalls. This is an un-advertised cave, so you brought all your own lights, etc... Taken with the Canon Powershot S3 IS with it`s built-in flash. There was otherwise no other light source save for the little led`s on my helmet. No retouching other than resizing.
