It is a short 0.3 mile hike to the windows and is easily accessible from Kentucky State Route 715 in the Red River Gorge.

The lights from the sides of the cave walls and in the plunge pool change colors from red, to green, to purple and to blue. This little leg burner is located on the Silvermine Arch trail in the Red River Gorge. 80 steps in all and located at the eastern most portion of The Koomer Ridge Campground, the 1 mile trail offers beautiful cliffside views of the surrounding mountains, as well as an unusual arch.. To the left of the image the landscape looked as if it was caught in a nuclear holocaust, to the right was a massive hill with 6 trees across the top and a graveyard. A windy, rainy, gloomy day.
